For those who need to transport more people, the four-passenger models like the XUV825M S4 Gas and XUV855M S4 Diesel are a perfect choice. The XUV825M S4 boasts a 52-hp (38.8 kW) gas engine, while the XUV855M S4 is powered by a 22.8-hp (17.0 kW) diesel engine.

    Technical Specifications and Features

    Engine and Drivetrain: The heart of these machines is either a 4-cycle gas engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) or a 4-cycle diesel engine. All models feature a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and a dash-switch-actuated four-wheel-drive system. Traction is enhanced by a limited-slip front differential and a positive-locking, switch-actuated rear differential lock.

    Suspension and Handling: The XUVs are built for tough terrain with a fully independent double-wishbone suspension featuring adjustable coils. With impressive suspension travel of 8 inches (20.32 cm) in the front and 9 inches (22.86 cm) in the rear, these vehicles make traversing uneven ground a smooth experience. The M- and R-trim models also feature power steering for effortless, automotive-like handling.

    Cargo and Utility: The deluxe cargo box is designed for versatility with 14 tie-down points and tie-down bars on each side. The tailgate can be opened with one hand, and the box can be converted to flatbed mode for oversized loads. The R-Trim models come with a standard cargo box power lift, allowing you to empty your load with the flip of a switch from the comfort of your seat.
