Far East Equipment was established by John A. Limtiaco and James S. Moir Jr. in 2005 in Guam. Far East Equipment is owned 50% by Pacific Unlimited, Inc., a family-owned holding company, owned and operated by the Limtiaco family and 50% owned by Mid-Pacific Guam, Inc., a subsidiary company of Mid-Pacific Industries, Inc., which is owned and operated by James S. Moir Jr. out of Woodland, California. In 2018, James S. Moir Jr. retired and sold all of Mid-Pacific Guam, Inc., shares to Pacific Unlimited, Inc. Far East Equipment Company LLC is now a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Unlimited, Inc.

Far East Equipment is the local distributor for John Deere agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, Generac Generators, Auto Car Trucks, Vermeer Equipment, Kalmar/Ottawa Truck, Hiab Cranes, Moffet Forklifts, Raymond Electric forklift and Landoll trailers. Far East is also the general sales Agent for Toyota Forklifts.
